Small Tips of Slider Maintenance for Lift Maintenance

What symptoms and hazards may arise if the sliders wear out?

Answer

• In maintenance, it is found that the carriage does not run up and down smoothly.

• Wobble due to too much clearance between the slider and its running track inside the column.

• The lift runs jerkily when raising a vehicle.

Solution

• Inspect and grease the sliders regularly so as to reduce the wearing rate.

• In normal conditions, the sliders have to be replaced for every 3 years or have to be changed immediately when the wear is greater than 1m.
